Introduction: In this essay, I will discuss three sections of business among many which hold ethical issues. Those sections are advertising, product liability, and leadership ethics. Within the three sections, I will identify and briefly discuss three specific ethical issues. I will then choose one ethical issue and go into the detail about how ABC Widgets Inc. will implement a policy on how to avoid the ethical issue. Advertising: Advertising has many ethical issues; however, I will focus on integrity, bribery, and manipulation. Integrity is a question of motives. It questions the purpose behind what is being advertised and the character of the company/person who is supporting it. You need your audience s trust if you want them to buy your products; there has to be a relationship. However, it is not integrity alone but integrity intertwined with persuasion and character. An example of this is the famous Jack Bennett case of 1997. Jack pulled in many individuals as well as businesses with his persuasion and enticed them to join the cause to help others.
